Head Instructor Michael Lisiewski
Over 30 years surfing experience
Over 20 Years instructing. Surfing
hasn't been a summer job for Michael,
its a way of life. Mike started the school in 1988
to share his love of the sport. As a working owner
of Brighton Beach Surf Shop he is very involved in
the surf community. He lectures for the Ocean County
library system, runs the St Francis surf program,
designs surfboards and tries to surf daily.

Caroline Unger

Caroline is the author of the book
"Surfing Long Beach Island"
She has been a competative surfer
and kayaker. She does a lot of our standup (female champion)
surfing lessons as well as our group lessons
she is also an EMT

Mason Holden
A downhill skateboarding champion and awesome ding repairist!!! Mason brings a quiet calm to his lessons that puts his students at ease. He has been surfing for several years, starting a decade ago as a student of the school and now the student has become the teacher.

Frank Malatino
Frank is a Ship Bottom local who loves to surf and rock out. In his spare time he can be found solving very difficult calculus problems or singing for one of his several bands. Frank is a very energetic and comedic person who makes for an excellent surf instructor.
